Probably, my Samsung Tab came with loads of apps I didnt want. You coukd always look into flashing a custom rom from xda-forums. You can typically find roms with no extra apps other than the typical google pack, for example Cyanogen is great, I do it to all my Android devices.

While I would also recommend installing a custom ROM such as CyanogenMod, you may find it easier to root your phone and then remove the apps you would like via Titanium Backup. This way, you can keep the features that come with the s-pen.

If you don't want to root your phone but still want to "remove" the bloatware, you could disable the apps you don't want.

Also when you get the phone, do things 3, 4 and 5 (and whatever else you want) from this list

Also after looking around, I couldn't find any CM11 ROMs...

Your method is probably more appropriate for the OP.
After a bit of looking it seems CM12 is expected in the next few weeks or shortly after lollipop pop has come to the note 4 (I dont know if it has or not already). They estimate CM to be ported for it a month or 2 afterwards, so anytime soon really.

Great advice everyone! :O)

Got a nice retention deal from them (EE) of £32.99 - unlimited mins, txt and 2gb data with a "free" Note 4.......CPW couldn't match or beat the offer.....

My current Note 3 which I love is / was from Phones4u (God bless em) so was unlocked......

Haven't heard of many lag issues except the s-voice home button one, but as per the contents of the link kindly attached by aaron this is easily rectified......I could actually get the phone unlocked.....

Would love Samsung to run the free bundled smart watch offer again, but I don't think I can wait around, as I'm going to sell the Note 3 once I get the Note 4 and don't want the value of the Note 3 to depreciate much more before I sell it.

Just weighing up the pro's and cons before I leap into bed with B"EE"T ;O) for ANOTHER 24 months!!!......

Wouldn't be surprised if it came earlier. After all, builds are popping up for all sorts of devices :D

I should add that I ain't no superuser....I don't mind touchwiz and if I fancy a change, I just load up Nova Launcher. Not fussed about flashing / rooting, as the Note 3 does everything I want and so much more......Best phone I have event had! :O)

Although I don't know what I would do without the likes of Neutron, MX Pro and Ex File Explorer :O)

@sxxychocolate Note 4 should be fantastic regardless of the bloatware, just disable most of it like aaron said. It should officially get Android Lollipop soon enough which will improve its speed further hopefully. Wouldnt bother with custom roms if your content with official updates.

Thanks for all the sound advice....I might wait just to see if Samsung spread any New Years cheer by offering some superduper bundle. With P4u gone, I do feel somewhat limited with the deals.....the last two times I upgraded no one could ever beat them including the carrier!?!....This time EE are coming up trumps.....

Just emailed the dude at EE to go ahead....No one can match the price!

The staff at CPW were kinda amazed...while the staff at the EE store said to make sure that the person that has been in contact definitely works for Orange.......Good advice due to so much fraudulent activity going on. Will let you all know how thing pan out.

Played with the phone again in the EE store. Could not see any EE bloatware on the device, and boy is this beast of a phone fast!!!!

Once again, thanks for your help :O)
