Hi I've bought something about 2 weeks ago from cex online and it's still not arrived.. I'm getting really p***** off now. I've trawled the internet looking for phone numbers as I'm not getting any response to emails. I can't find anything but numbers that don't work. Anybody know a number I can actually get through to somebody on? Thanks in advance

Ps I have gone on track my item and it says it's being held in a warehouse because receivers name is incorrect.. don't know what the hell that means as I filled out all my details correctly.

Ask them on Facebook or Twitter?

https://www.saynoto0870.com/companysearch.php has a few numbers, they might be able to point you in the right direction.

They do everything by email?

If you have an account with them, and ordered through it, maybe go into a store and ask what is going on ?

Two weeks is very poor, I have used them online a few times and had so far been impressed with their delivery (usually arrives within a day or two for me).

Not saying that is the definite answer, but it's what I would do now.

Thanks, that link is taking me to a blank page though :|

Takes them a couple of weeks to reply to emails, they are based in India so I am led to believe. What courier have they used to send the item? Might be worth phoning them and seeing what they can do, while you wait for your reply. They don't have telephone number anymore as they had too many complaints... Just goes to show.

Thankyou, that is was my next plan, just thought I'd see if I could get through on the phone.. looks like I'll have to head into town. I'm really annoyed about not getting any response from emails even though I've have received confirmation emails saying ticket number on etc.. I'm really disgusted at their customer service with this.. thanks for your advice, I'll have to go in

It's with UPS. I've emailed them also and given them all my details etc.. not heard anything back from them, either. I've tried calling them today but they kept me in a queue so long I had to go off the phone as it was 0870 number and I can't afford to stay on hold indefinitely :( I will never buy anything from them again online after this.

Try that site that was suggested up above saynoto0870 and find an alternative number for Ups. Going to the store won't help as they are franchised and don't have access to online orders. I would complain on their twitter page and DM I have had to do this in the past and got a reply on my email within a few hours.

Go in calmly and if you have proof of sale (cinfirmation email (?)) they should help you there I reckon, either way. (This is just a guess though)

Like I say i have had a good experience with their online so far, and just to add that when I decided I did not like one item I went into the store and they gave me a refund back to my credit card after checking the item was in good order (was within 7 days, and I claimed refund under 'Distance Selling' law), so just showing that the online and instore experience is 'linked' to some degree.

Anyhow, good luck

Out of interest which courier did they use? I ordered a 980ti and it took just under 2 weeks to arrive as DX kept not turning up to collect the package from CEX Inverness. Took the email team about a week to get DX to give me a delivery date which was last Tuesday. Then it suddenly arrived on Saturday which was luckily just before we had planned to go out for the day.

I've had a similar issue with CEX using UPS, been waiting over a week for a blu ray player I ordered for my daughter, I think the fault lies with UPS rather than CEX, as when i've ordered other things and they've sent them via Royal Mail it's always arrived withing 2 or 3 days at most. Looks like UPS are finally going to deliver it today after making the initial collection ticket on the 26th of April, terrible service.

I take it you don't use the internet much? Just remove the bit after the .com...

it being with UPS - it's basically the CEX warehouse having had arranged for the delivery, but the parcel is just sat in a warehouse somewhere - it's just a matter of them actually passing the parcel to UPS.... I remember CEX taking the mick with my parcel like this once

I was surprised how good they were for me, (had delivery within a day or two, no hassle refund I store, etc) maybe I got a bit lucky. I guess it can be a lucky dip though

I had emailed both of them, cex and UPS. Cex didn't respond but I did get an email from ups this morning saying that it should be with me on the 8th.. so we shall see.. there's about 10 points on the ups tracking where it says it has been scanned but cannot be posted. Absolutely ridiculous.. wont be using them again, not for a console anyway (_;)

Hope you got your item yesterday.. I finally got an email back from UPS Stating it should be with me on 8th on may, so we shall see. Didn't even comment about why they've held it so long in their warehouse though, I'm still annoyed. Fingers crossed mine comes on the 8th ;)

Just thought I'd update you all incase you couldn't sleep worrying about the whereabouts of my Xbox lol. It's finally been delivered .. Turns out it was cex at fault, they kept putting my address as Street instead of Avenue.. Cex contacted me only this morning to say they corrected the address (after I told them UPS toldme they can't deliver due to having incorrect address) The lovely UPS delivery guy pointed out that they amended the address, with the exact same WRONG address they previously gave. The packaging is not very good at all. No box just bubble wrap and black cling film (which didn't protect the corners) and was partly open. I've opened it but not set it up so unsure if it works yet as got to get ready for work. The console is also filthy.. I don't mind that if it does work concidering it does come with a warranty. Anyway just thought I'd update you all, thanks for your answers :)
