Ive got a virtually brand new Suzuki GSX650F K8. 08 reg, registered last august. Only done 200 miles! Very reluctant sale i must admit but am thinking a m.bike is just a big toy and im looking at getting a mortgage now. A bit more important than a bike really :)

I don't know what you paid for it, but you can buy a brand new bike for £4200. The current climate is not great for selling bikes, but private sale expect £3500 maximum.

Alls well saying you can buy a brand new bike for £x - each model etc varies in price. Or do you mean the same bike as mine? Bit confused to that
I paid £5995 for it, brand new obviously from a dealer last august. I know the current climate is more of a buyers market now, but cant believe id be looking at almost half what i paid for it

Like this one

£4299 on the road and they were even prepared to throw in a voucher for £200 of accessories.

I fully understand that you can buy a brand new bike for any price you want, but in a previous post you stated that you had a Suzuki GSX650F, so that what is what the new price referred to! I've been looking at one of these and I'm currently playing dealers one off against another. Fowlers are the cheapest, when you include the voucher, but George Whites will deliver it to my house within the price of £4300.

Suzuki are sods for doing this, they will always reduce the price of the that years bikes late in the season. A few years back I bought a brand new '03 SV650s for £3995 otr in January '04, the only change from '03 to'04 bikes was a change in wheel colour!

When i looked at this bike the dealer told me these bikes will hold their value.....not only 6 months later at im looking at a private sale of half the price !

I almost bought a brand new zx6r, all black one, for an extra £100 more than i paid for my Suzuki. But decided to go for a more up-right bike with the fairing. This Suzuki being the perfect choice for me
