does anyone have an experience with the website The cheap laptop company?

I ordered and paid £250 for Dell Latitude E5430 Core i5-3320M 2.6Ghz 8GB RAM 1TB HDD, but what they sent me instead was Dell Latitude E5520 - 15.6" - Core i3 2350M - 2 GB RAM - 250 GB HDD, which is ancient and much inferior. They are cheats, never trust them!!!

yes - avoid them, they advertise items they don't have, send you ancient filthy rubbish instead, and make it hard for you to return it and get a refund including postage

I ordered a refurbished Dell laptop from the Cheaplaptop company at a very competitive price and they sent me a very good machine which is even above spec in that the hard drive is larger than advertised. I'm very pleased with how my transaction went and would recommend the company to others. Chris

Resurrecting a two year old thread looks just like a member offering their opinion in passing and not at all like someone actively promoting the company.

Avoid this lot! The so called "thoroughly tested laptops" are nothing more than bulk purchased ex company machines. Ours still had crumbs on the keyboard! No doubt from the last time it was used. Keyboard was battered and screen fried. They wont talk to you so dont bother calling the number " listed" on the website, its all via email that the fob-offs are delivered. JUST DONT HAND OVER ANY MONE

Hmmm ... it seems that my posting a positive review was not appreciated. After I ordered my laptop I was alarmed to see some negative comments about the people I'd ordered it from ... should maybe have looked first. When the laptop arrived and was perfectly ok even with a larger hard drive than I was expecting I decided to post a positive review on the two sites where I'd seen negative feedback. My review is perfectly honest and genuine. But it seems that positive feedback is viewed as suspicious and likely fraudulent. Mine is not.

Happens a lot here, unfortunately. Old threads, generally not in favour of the company in question, are often resurrected by newcomers posting positive reviews, which raises eyebrows. Apologies if we got it wrong on this occasion!

Do not buy any thing from them...........
My son bought a laptop from Cheap Laptop Company in April 2019, it broke down in September so he agreed (after a lot of emails and chasing) with the company to repair it in October, which they did, approx a month later he gets it back.
Then in November it breaks down again, again after a lot of time wasted, the company agree to repair it but this time swop it for another laptop.
This works until approx April 2020 when this 2nd one breakdown, (remember the company give 3 year guarantees) this time the company do not reply at all.
This is when I step in to help and after a number of emails and phone calls, I also get no where. So that is why I am complaining he, that this company are rubbish!
