How to turn on call waiting?
As written on devicehelp.optus.com.au, here are the steps you need to do to enable call waiting:
Go to Apps through Galaxy SIII Home screen.
Tap on Phone icon.
Tap on Menu key located on the lower left of the screen.
On the pop-up menu tap on Call Settings.
Tap on Additional settings.
Here you can enable call waiting by tick the checkbox next to this option.
Finish. Now call waiting features has been successfully activated on your phone.

How to turn off call waiting?
From the same source, to disable call waiting, kindly following the easy steps below:
Go to Apps through Galaxy SIII Home screen.
Tap on Phone icon.
Tap on Menu key located on the lower left of the screen.
On the pop-up menu tap on Call Settings.
Tap on Additional settings.
Here you can disable call waiting by remove the tick on the checkbox next to this option.
Finish. Now call waiting has been successfully deactivated on your phone.
