Dealextreme would be cheapest but no good if you need it quickly. Otherwise, try your local computer shop (not PissyWorld!), they usually stock a selection of fans.

Thanks for the info but tried that already, i dont want to spend a lot as its not on show and its not going to be cained, just want the stock fan for the CPU or similar but not many fans these days are ok for 125W CPU's :(

Thanks I looked at that one it is for CPUs up to 89Watts and the CPU is 125Watts.

Akasa told me that the it would not be suitible, but i was thinking if i put loads of fans in the rest of the case if i would be able to use it.

They also said the only fans they do for that CPU are

AK-875
AK-876
AK-968

but i cant find them for a decent price :(
here is the link to all of them

I assume that you want a heatsink and fan not just a fan? If it's just a fan then you should be able to get one fairly easily if you know the size of the fan. If it's the heatsink and fan then Novatech have got the AK-876 for £14.94. I doubt you'll find it much cheaper than that.

Yes want a heatsink and fan, I emailed novatech earlier and they told me the set that akasa ak-865 would be ok, even after akasa told me it would not be good enough. I will prop have to get the 876 but really want to pay OEM prices (around a fiver) no one seems to do just a stock fan.
I have a heatsink i could use that works up to a AMD 5600 if i could get a new fan for it that would work.

Thanks for your help thou :)

The fans on the Akasa coolers look fairly standard. The differences (and what you're paying for) are the fancy heatsinks. So, I would imagine that your AMD 5600 heatsink is probably much the same as the ak-865. If Novatech reckon that the ak-865 is OK, I'd probably go along with their view and chance it - Novatech Tech Support is generally pretty good. It's your moneyt though! :)

I was thinking that, but the heat for that heatsink and fan says it can only go to 89W and the CPU is 129W if it was a little difference I would go for it but I am thinking there is a 30% increase in heat between what it says it can cool and what it would be colling.

I have 2 of these CPUs and the stock one looks very standard but when you try to get a standard fan for it (not in the retail pack) it comes with pipes coming out of the heatsink, if they are all so cheap why cant they just cool the highest and then it would work for all, dam it lol
