Doorbell

My doorbell has recently got a mind of it's own. it's one of those wirless plug in types and it has been pretty good. Recently it has decided to ring at some unearthly hours of the morning, with no one at the door.

I'm now looking for a wireless replacement and would appreciate it if anyone sees something floating around online in the sales, just let me know.

Thanks

Very helpful you are. I have had two from ebay (cheap) and they end up with minds of their own. So am looking for a better quality one.

Now if anyone over the mental age of 9 would like to reply.

Not sure if I qualify on the mental age bit but I'll have a go :giggle:

Homebase have a sale on at the moment plus I think it's 10% extra today and tomorrow.

You should be able to find a decent one there. Friedland is a good brand.

Failing that try Curry's or Comet who I think sell them too.

Now I got to get back to my lego bricks and farleys rusks.......:p

Cheers ! Me happy now !

On a serious note, and rather spookily, the one you have chosen is virtually identical to ours.

Be careful when you attach and subsequently go to change the battery on the outside door part. They tend to get very stiff and the blue bit down the bottom shatters. Only cosmetic though as ours still works fine.

They have a good range, ours still works down the bottom of the garden, approx 60 feet.

Try to keep the outdoor bit in the shade rather than in the sun.

There, how helpful was that then !! lol !! :whistling:

That was very helpful indeed. Some others :whistling: should take note.
