DSWiiXBox 360 - Good games?

Treated my mum to first and myself to latter two. my mum is into basic type games - mahjong, solitaire, and basic strategy type games - can anyone recommend any? Have so far ordered for her cooking with mama, deal or no deal, atari retro classics, and hoping to order 42 all time clasics (Think thats what its called).

I myself like strategy, and havent played much games since the ps1 and spectrumatari days! Used to like two games called (I think) Red Dawn and Black lamp. Black lamp was one where you wandered around screen looking for x amount of different coloured lamps - not sure what those kind are called but like the puzzle type oou wander around a mini world. used to like sonic gnes where yames, green beret etc. The red dawn or whatever was one where at start you had to pilot a russian plane out of some building where the rood opened up then fly at night shooting targets and getting to checkpoints. Am rusty on games but with toddlers need something to occupy my evenings as splitting with hubby (Ongoing for last 2 years - long story!) and had to move to rural village and dont drive (Rental prices cheaper and had to make break with husband) so nobody I know in area and usually just get out to go to work during week while my mum looks after my 2 year olds! Have got brain training, ordered winter sports, got play and sports, zelda, a PS2 I ony used slightly 4 years ago and not since! Oh yeah dont like shoot them ups if it involves lots of fancy key combos (I dont think I do anyway!) so quite a HUGE scope!

I picked Carnival up in Game for £25 on saturday as that was the cheapest I have seen so far and also got metal slug anthologies from play.com for £15 as its a really enjoyable 2d scrolling game

I tend to use my wii for casual gaming like the fun games i.e carnival, wii sports, olympics etc as it gives a good break from the more seroius gaming I use my 360 for

The harddrive is used mainly for downloading content from xbox live like, demos, trailers, music videos and movies plus you can also save your games. if you plan to play original xbox games on your 360 then you also need the harddrive for that

Carnival is fun, you seem to have a decent enough selection of Wii games to keep you going just now. Winter Olympics is on my list too.

DS game how about this http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/129984/monopoly-boggle-yahtzee-battleships/all/all/hot/ seems to be the type of game you describe.

The 360 Hard drive is for storing the demos, movies and games that you can download. Is you xbox plugged into the internet? Plug it in and register an account on Xbox Live and you can download demo's of games , buy "arcade" games. and even now rent movies over it. When you first plug in and register you will get 1 month free on xbox live.

Maybe check out Viva Pinata on the xbox, think theres a demo for it.
