Try staydublin.com we stayed at an apartment right in the centre of Dublin in January. It was literally a 3 - 4 minute walk from Temple Bar district, fantastic for the nightlife and also the shops.
We stayed in a 3 bed apartment for 7 people but they also have one bed apartments for two people, the apartment had a lounge with tv and dvd player, dining area, fully equiped kitchen, Bathroom with bath and shower. The apartments are really nice and modern, plenty of space and ours had a balcony that was enormous and you could look out at the whole of Dublin. Even though it's right in the centre of Dublin we couldn't hear any noise at night and everyone slept well.
The price per person per night worked out at £22.50 so £45 for the 2 nights that we stayed there.
There was a bus that we caught just outside the tourist information centre at the airport that took us straight into the centre of Dublin, it cost us 11 euros each and we could use the ticket for 3 days unlimited, so we used ours to get to and from the airport.
When we got off the bus in Dublin our apartment was about a 5 minute walk away if that.

Hope this helps, and have a great time!
Thanks for that what ones did you stop in Had a lookat these earlier and fancyed the christchurch apartments?
can't remember if it was the christchurch one or millenium and capel. Tbh, they all look really nice and are very comfortable.
One word of advice though, take plenty of euros if you like to have a good drink, all drinks are quite pricey, worked out about £10 -11 for a pint of guiness and a single martini and lemonade!!
Also just as you go over millenium bridge into temple bar district there was a pub that had a board outside advertising a weekly comedy night. It was fantastic, saw about 8 up and coming comedians, all but one was absolutely hilarious! only cost 6 euros to watch them too!!
yeah i know ireland can be expensive been couple of times before over the years and the euro rate is terrible now to back then....!
The best place to get your euros is to order them online with travelex and then collect them from the airport you fly from. It's a much better rate if you order them online than just changing it a travelex on the day. You need to order them atleast 24 hours before you want to collect them.

I have stayed at Christchurch apartments.. PM me if you need any help

I go to Dublin ALOT!!
Also, use bookings.com

they are really good for booking hotels, and you pay on arrival... also reviews all on same site, you can only review if you booked through them and stayed there
mishmc81 your a star thanks
