DVD & HDD Recorder with Built-in Freeview

I am currently looking for a DVD & HDD Recorder with Built-in Freeview for a birthday present. I have been looking long and hard but the cheapest I can find one for is the Samsung DVD-SH853 for £168.44 including delivery at Direct Digital (http://www.digitaldirect.co.uk/products_moreinfo3/index.asp?product_id=13298).

This particular model has 160GB Hard Drive, with DVD recording facility and built in freeview. I must have all 3 features.

Does anyone know of anything cheaper for a similar specification??

No worries if not but thanks in advance :-)

i have a hd recoder for sale if intrested goodmanns 160 gb used once for £75 but willing to listen to offers
I'd highly recommend the Sony 770 DVD-HDD recorder at £149.99. At this price it's currently unbeatable. If you can wait, I'm sure Argos will reduce this back to £149.99. If you need a recorder right now, forget Samsung and spend a little extra on the Sony 160GB version model 870. You won't regret it.

There are cheaper recorders out there but they are usually have problems or limitations. As it's a gift, it would be best to avoid refurbs. Good Luck.
Hi Robbie, thx for offer but as it is a Bday present would prefer a new one. Thx again though

Thanks Retropolis i will have a look at the Sony recorders. Shame the Argos deal isn't still on. Cheers for your help, much appreciated :-D
used 1 tiem only
Thanks again for the offer Robbie, but i would just prefer to buy a brand new one with full manufacturer guarantee etc. Also, if i get something that isn't liked i can take it back to a shop.

Cheers anyway - sounded like a good deal for dvd recorder, hard drive recorder and freeview all-in-one. :-)
