Hi all, i'm looking for some cheapish DVD's to back up my disc's only problem is i'm unsure of whats compatible as i've recently purchased 150 maxell DVD-R 1-16X but they dont seem to work i'm used to using some cheap datawrite 4.7gb general purpose 8x DVD-R and they worked fine but my local store is no longer there.

So i ask if you could reccomend some just 50 will do for now as i don't want to buy 150 again to find out they don't work.

P.S i did a search a few days ago seen a few already reccomended but the links to them said they were out of stock so i asked to be notified when there back in but heard nothing yet and could use some disc's asap.

Thanks for looking any links to some discs are welcome.

I've just had a look on my computer i use for burning and it shows it's capable of burning dvd r -/+ and dvd rw -/+ upto X16 same for cd so i'm unsure why those last disc didn't work :?

Thanks for the link price looks good so even if they don't work i'm not going to lose out on much [last pack £13 for 50] so i'll order myself a pack thanks again.

Hmm just looked around for some reviews on the company from the above link and apparently they've had some problems with fraud not to long ago, maybe things are sorted now but i'd rather not take the risk.

Any other suggestions anyone?
