Just bought Digital Camcorder I was wanting to record onto disc using DVD recorder.

Dont want to use computer to do this as I would get more use from buying a DVD recorder than a burner for computer.
If that makes any sense?

It does make sense!

I did exactly the same, I bought a Panasonic digital camcorder and bought a DVD recorder to copy the footage off. What make is your camcorder?

It doesn't matter which make camcorder is. Any DVD recorder with iLink (or DV in) should do the trick. I recommend going for Panasonic ones with HDD as it makes editing easier.

Its a JVC GR240, got it from Boots with free bag and 2 tapes, £180.

Which DVD have the proper connections?

What leads would I need?

Thanks.

As Kommunist said, if it's got a DV connection (A digital input that is typically found on digital camcorders - allows for easy transfer to DVD recorder ) you can connect it straight to the DVD recorder via a USB cable and it treats like any another form of input.

...via a USB cable...

Correction: via Firewire (or DV or iLink) cable. :)
