there was a really good one called sumvision lynx which most retailers were selling at around £30-35 and everyone was giving it EXCELLENT reviews. ive been looking to get my hands on one but every retailer seems to be out of stock apart from 1 who is charging £50??? shocking!

My parents have this one (without any of the Amazon customer problems) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Toshiba-SD370E-Player-Upscaling-HDMI/dp/B000OA1W8A/
You must get an HDMI cable (the ebuyer one for about £5 works fine with my more expensive unit). Upscaling is meaningless over scart - I don't think all the whinging Amazon customers know that
