im off to an airshow this weekend, taking my two young kids..
I got some ear defenders from the local DIY shop but have come to the conclusion they are a bit rubbish.
anyone know of any ( preferably high street ) retailers that will sell some decent ones specifically for children .
Have not really got time to order them online .. I will try Wickes tomorrow along with B&Q but Im thinking kids ones maybe a bit too specialised for them
thanks

They should be fine if you couple them with some of the foam earplugs.

I would have thought they should have some rating on the side of the ear defenders.

I know a couple of mates who have got their kids these for the MotoGP and SuperBikes Peltor Ear defenders

Loads on Amazon Might not get them in time for the weekend though

dunno how old your children are - can't they just put their hands over their ears if it gets a bit loud? that's what my littl'uns do.

Problem is, I doubt the noise hurts the kids it more down to the fact is they dont realise that sort of volume can damage their hearing, so as a precaution you should make them wear ear protection anyway.

my youngest has asd & has a real problem with loud noises & he has the Peltor kids ear defenders which are great  there are loads on ebay that you may be able to get quickly or google them

What about some pairs of the in-ear ear phones from the likes of Poundland ? They'd probably look better than the bright orange/yellow glo in the dark ones you can buy . Folk'll think they have mp3 players .

i has to get my son some in a rush last year as he had trodden on his previous pair & got them the day after from ebay  worth checking to see if any of the sellers send 1st class & asking them if they'd be able to post tomorrow so you'll definitely get by the weekend :)
