Have just tried to sell some ECigs mods and tanks only to find EBay do not allow you to sell ECigs items as a private seller. I am always buying things to try and relied on EBay to recoup some of the cost. Does anyone know of a alternate site or a way round the new rules, was thinking of an allowed seller selling for a commission etc?

gumtree but it's owned by eBay so don't know if they take the same stance, or you could try your local Facebook for sale/free or wanted group

I tried selling them on eBay but they kept taking it down. I managed to sell one buy putting it into another category and they still removed it. I got lucky and managed to sell one!

Thanks for the replies but I guess its going to be a waiting game, I have never got on with gumtree, no particular reason other than I have always used EBay. Will have a look at preloved and facebook and see if that pans out. Will leave this question open to see if anyone comes up with something.
If ebay keeps up with the restrictions guessing it will not be long before someone takes the initiative.

Yup, takes the initiative and gets banned permanently. Good luck with that OP.

Read it slower, I mean if things do not change then someone will come up with a alternative to EBay.

I misunderstood. if you are awaiting for an alternative to eBay, your more than likely to give up eCigs first, which I guess is the point?

Don't be silly. There have and are alternatives, none anywhere near the scale of ebay.

How much in £ were you selling per month of ecig stuff? You are sounding like a business seller pretending to be a personal seller?

You really do read some strange things into what people are writing. Read the question and you will see what I am selling and its all used and all used by me. I wasn't selling anything per month, the last time I sold off some of my old gear was about 14 months ago and there were no restrictions then, so was shocked when I tried today.
