Are you sure it's gone up that much? £4 increase is above the 2.5% it should be going up by

http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/price-plans-and-costs/ee-price-plans/price-calculator

Says it should be going up to With VAT: £31.76

More details: http://ee.co.uk/help/add-ons-benefits-and-plans/price-plans-and-costs/ee-price-plans/rpi-pricechanges

yes that's what it says 2.5 %, I think its disgusting I dread to think what it will be after 24 months.

Get on the phone to them and quote what the EE website says. They can't increase it by as much as £4 as it will break the T&Cs

thanks for the links I will have to get on to them cause it says 2.5%, but has taken price up from 30.99 too 34.99 on letter she received which is way over 2.5% like you say .

They should allow her to cancel the contract, Not sure about returning the mobile, They will probably ask for it to be returned.
#6
Pretty sure if they have broken the Terms you keep the mobile

A while a go a mate of mine took out a vodafone contract and they removed the mast not long after so his signal become very poor and he kept the phone

Why on earth does a 19 year old needs a £31 contract per month? What phone and plan is it ".

something doesnt add up here, if it was an RPI increase it would not be exactly £4. i bet she has upgraded the plan or gone over her allowance or something similar.

That's very strange because EE don't even do a 34.99 price plan unless it's a sim only.. secondly the letter you received sounds like a welcome letter so it's really Car phone you should be speaking to if they've quoted 30.99 and connected a 34.99 price plan.. also the price increase is set at 2.5% for every customer so no possible way it would be more for you.. every network has a price increase every year and it's only ever by 30/40 pence.. I think this letter is your welcome letter telling you what car phone connected you to and not the price increase letter...

Partly correct every network does have a price increase in line with inflation if you have a sim and handset. There is NO price increase for holding a sim only plan across all networks :)

What is that got to do with the question? Some people spend £31 on Fags and Booze, some people like having a really good phone
