I've received an email from Europcar claiming that due to some system issue they hadn't taken payment of a hire back in August!
I don't really see them giving a car without payment going through. Anyways they wish to take payment in the next 7 days, however haven't disclosed the amount, but i don't really have any spare money right now. In addition, i believe i payed by credit card which i cancelled in December as the cashback rates had changed (santander)
Does anyone know where i stand with this matter, can they really request payment after several months?
Has anyone been in a similar situation?
