In my years in computing, the only reliable hard drive brands are SEAGATE & WESTERN DIGITAL, hence their 5-YEAR warranty!

I'd always trusted Seagate - but we had a dodgy batch recently. 10/12 failed. I also used to rate Maxtor, but now I believe they are part of the Seagate brand....
