Hi,

I'm buying my first HD TV..
I'm looking for a 37" or 42". Must have freeview and support 720p 1080 ect.. (for gaming)
Budget is around £400-£600

It must have a Headphone socket.
Any links to good deals will be appreciated..

Thanks!

EDIT: Also, do all HDTV's support NTSC hardware? Thanks.

hi, what is the best one you have found in your price range and where from?

you say it must support 1080? 1080 p or 1080i?

A branded LCD HDTV 1080p @ £600 is wishful thinking to an extent.

I'd recommend a nice 37" 720p which are on the forums etc.

Ensure it has at least 2-3 HDMI sockets.

They should should support NTSC yes, but check specs before ordering.

IMHO, Samsung make some of the best HD sets. They offer 720p 1080i and 1080p sets at competitive prices. P.S. Dont forget John Lewis! They'll do price match and you get a 5 yr warranty FREE
