Try Parcels2go to see the price, availability, delivery time and insurance of quite a few couriers in one easy place. Just measure and weigh the package, obtain the estimate price, set up an account and pick your courier and wait. I've used Hermes Economy so far without a problem but remember at this time of year anything can happen so get sufficient insurance, wrap the item well and make sure you get a tracked courier service.

For new customer with parcels2go discount code FIRSTFREE. You get £10 FREE, NO MINIMUM SPEND.

As above try parcel2go and with £10 off you can afford to use city link which should come to around £8. Excellent service

Word of warning... Parcels to go are good competitive prices but some companies they use are shocking. My partner uses parcels 2 go daily but wouldn't entertain yodel ever again. An item that should have been collected 2 weeks ago the buyer is still yet to receive the item. Hermes are far more reliable and you don't get the hassle of having to keep phoning them up to find out where the parcel is when you have customers kicking off at you. City link through parcels to go is only £1 more for 24 hour delivery also

why wouldn't you? I sent something yesterday with them through parcels2go and customer received today. And for 30p I got a text notification to say it had been delivered. Great service I think.
