32GB max will be a lie, the max will be 2TB. Also the usb input on the tv will be usb 2.0 and most 2.0 sticks max that out so any stick will do really. I would buy a 1TB external drive which gets power from the mains.

Thank you, sorry i didn't mean 32gb max - that's the min requirement. Any reason you'd pick mains powered over a smaller 2.5" USB powered device?

Because they are much cheaper and your tv might not be able to power a portable drive. Also dont buy more than 2TB because you tv won't see the extra space.
