Hi guys, noticed a few times there some good deals on flights to Gerona, Ryaniar seem to be the main one that goes from stansted but at teh moment htei rprices include massive charges for luggage and taxes.

Wanting to go OCT 9th early morning and returning OCT 12th later on in day.

Live in Birmingham so any airprt within 2 hours drive is goos, Stansted, Luton or Midlands preferred.

Cheers Guys

just a word of warning if going by ryanair, if for any reason your flight gets cancelled, you will have to buy another ticket to get home

We flew from Bristol to Gerona, the only thing I will warn you about is the distance from the airport to the center of Barcelona. It took us about an hour each way, not a major problem but you will have to book a taxi which adds to the price and as we only went for a long weekend the time it took to get there and back really cut into our holiday. A really great place to go tho, would love to go back. Try and go to La Ramblers if you get a chance, its a really long street full of resturants, bars, shops and street preformers, well worth a visit.

We flew to Girona (Barcelona) last month. The cheapest and easiest way to get to the city centre from the airport is by the Barcelona Bus. You can buy return tickets from a counter in the foyer after getting your luggage and boarding the bus outside.

The Barcelona Buses depart and return to Girona airport in time with Ryanair's flights, and drop you off at the Barcelona Nord bus station.

I think the cost is about 17 Euro return.
