Flying from norwich to anywhere please???

Hi all,
I just wanted to take my kids somewhere in october school hols to somewhere anywhere really just for the flight from norwich.
Basically we have never flown anywhere and im / there also scared so wanted somewhere for the day or two for a tester...i live 20 mins away from norwich airport you see. Im looking at cheap flights but getting bloody £1229 for me n 2 kids to go to edinburgh n back!!!

Can anyone help? ive never looked for a deal on hols n dont know where to start... obviously lol

I would have a look at weekend or mid-week breaks to Disneyland Paris, short trip and something to do when you get there. Obviously depends on your budget, but if that is out of the question a trip to London, day sight seeing then flight back again or get the train back. My daughters went to Dublin for their 1st flight, but they were over 18.
if you just want the plane trip come to manchester £40 each way per person stay for a while and go back,theres your plane ride its cheap have a look at
Or treat yourselves, u can fly from Norwich to turkey have a two week holiday AI for £420 (approx) each!! We are, but we booked early and paid lots more!
Just been to disneyland in march by eurostar tho. what about edinburgh?
