Hey,

I'm really after one of these cameras, or something better if it exists. This camera is a small digital camera with a very good picture, and great reviews - at least 5 MP and not too bulky for under £150 with apparently amazing image quality, particularly in medium low - low light. According to DPReview.com, it is far better than even the equivalent canon cameras.

They are on offer at loads of shops for between £95 and £140 (PC World, Fuji Film refurb shop, pixmania, lots of smaller chains), but nowhere actually has them in stock. In fact, the only place that actually seems to have them is an eBay seller, and they are asking for over £220 for it.

Has anyone seen a new one of these, or an equivalent which is as good (with review to back it up) for sale for under £150, anywhere?

Cheers,
Bob

Try searching both the forums here and google for the Fuji F20.
Gem of a camera in my opinion :)

Yeah, thanks. I'll consider the F20. Fuji have gone for number of megapixels over image quality in the F4x and F5x series, so these cameras are just not as good as the F10-F31fd. Apparently people buy more cameras with higher megapixel counts, rather than better quality cameras with lower megapixel counts.

I quite agree that the pixel count is immaterial and used to market needless newer models - the sensor is what counts. But it is just as good on the newer cameras - and you can choose a lower resolution if you wish.

The functionality on the F20 has some omissions as this was their price leading version.
