Hi Guys,

Need advice. I know Game match/beat CEX for cash or Voucher value.

I am selling the following:

Wii U 32gb boxed (mario kart 8 bundle)
Mario Kart 8
Mario Kart Wii version
Splatoon
Bayonetta 2
Zombi U
Wonderful 101 (still wrapped..)
Goldeneye 007 Wii version
Zelda Twilight Princess Wii version

I calculate Game would give me approx £175 credit.

Am just wondering if worth putting on ebay?

I assume I would need to get at least £225 here to cover approx 10-13% selling costs and Royal Mail tracked delivery (£25 - guess)

Any thoughts/advice?

Cheers,

J

I debated this to myself last time I had a clean out of XBOX 360 games. In the end, after ebay fees etc., I made £5-10 more from 15-ish games than I would've gotten in credit in Game. That probably works out as a bigger difference in practice, given that you're limited to spending the credit in Game, and their prices aren't great.

You could always start the bidding/set a reserve at whatever price Game would have given you (again bearing in mind fees etc.),. That way you're guarunteed to either do better, or you can just take it to Game afterwards if no one bites.

Why not try sell here on the FS/FT section? Get some pics etc and read the rules, I'm sure you'll get a good sale and with Xmas not too far off.

I think you could sell it here for £200 plus delivery. Perhaps a nice middle ground.

Probably worth a try but looking at recent Wii U consoles in the FS/FT section, there hasn't been much interest.

As above, worth a try but £200 might be pushing it for a Wii U with 5 Wii U games & 2 Wii games. Worth trying gumtree too as no fees & no hassle with packing/posting etc, although you might have to deal with jokers offering you half of what it's actually worth. I think the value of a 2nd hand Wii U seems to be in a ditch at the moment, but you might get lucky. Good luck to OP anyway.
