DXRacer is one of the main brands, it's a chair it's not going to come wired unless he is after something really fancy?

I have been looking as well for my son who has an Xbox One. there are 3 options normally- the "rocker" / beanbag which are chairs without pedestal bases, the "office" type which are usually better suited to PC gaming or the pedestal type which is the one you say you want, at the moment the best value pedestal i can find is with Argos http://www.argos.co.uk/product/5657441 This is a 2.1 surround (2 speakers in head rest and sub woofer) and also has Rumble motors. and has wireless built in.

You don't need a wireless one- as the xbox doesnt have bluetooth like the ps3 so to use the wireless in the chair you would beed to buy a bluetooth transmitter to send the signal from the TV headphone / RCA (white & red phono sockets) to the chair. Of coures you don;t have to buy a bluetooth transmitter- you can just use the included cables to connect directly to the TV.

Having said that the better chairs seem to have wireless anyway.
As well as the industry leader X-Rocker There is another brand called BraZen which is a uk company and seems to have decent reviews at a decent price point- but they don't seem to have stock anywhere right now.

Hope i have been of help!

I personally like the style of X-Rocker better- i like that it's from argos so easy to return if there are any issues and i know the X-rocker customer support has been good with a friend who had a squeaky chair.. of course the fact that the X-rocker is £10 cheaper helps as well!

most "gaming chairs" are office chairs for sitting at a desk usually with a PC you cant miss the pedestal base ones they are more like armchairs
