The AOC G2460PF is more than adequate for your gaming needs, and if you ever decide to use for PC gaming in the future it will be better. The response and refresh rate on that will offer better performance and smoother images if being used for gaming specifically

I don't think it really matters for an Xbox too much because of the frame rates, just buy a nice 24-28" 1080p monitor with a fast response time that's capable of 60hz which has good reviews.

The 144hz monitor you linked is way over kill as if I'm right the Xbox one can't even give 60fps at 1080p, intact I'm sure the Xbox usually gives about 30fps ?

you are prob right regarding the fps, but i might get a ps4 in the future so would like to get something that would cover them both just in case

You want a 1080p mointor, with low latency (under 5ms) and ideally 60hz.

Anything else is unnecessary unless you are going to use it with a PC also as other have stated.

144hz+ monitors are great, I couldn't move back to gaming at 60hz but if you are buying a 144hz monitor you have to be looking at building a PC.

You can build a budget gaming rig capable of 1080p gaming for between £400-500.

The PS4 maximum fps is 60, even on the pro, just bear it in mind when you buy so you don't overspend on something you don't need :P
