I was with npower too ..............arrogant bunch , used a on-line guide and Scottish Electric came up tops .So, I switched suppliers. I dont know the name of the comparison company I used ,but do a google search and see what shows up.

ps , I think I mean Scottish Power .

Hi all

Im with Eon on price protection 17 i think.
I have switched to Scottish Power.
Because Quidco £101.00 for switching both gas and electric.
Also they are about £56.00 cheeper on first 900 units of gas or electric cant remember which and cheeper on first 1400 units of other lol. not 2400 units like Eon.So if i get Quidco+cheeper on first unit allowances i will be about £180.00/£200.00++better off.
Hope this helps you.

Hi,

I have had a look at various suppliers, you are currently on quite a good plan switching would bring minimal savings if any at all, the only real way you could make in money is if you got cashback from switching only problem with this is that it is not guaranteed.

I would sit tight at the moment at see what happens with energy costs of the following few months.

Any questions let me know.

hi codfather, wondering if u could do likewise for me as I get mind boggled when I try to do it myself :?

I use electricity only and pay 12.79p per unit with a standing charge of 16.24p per day. I then get a 5% monthly direct debit discount off the usage only - not off the standing charge tho! My postcode is PH22.
Thanks for any help :)

May I suggest that you call this freephone number 0800 0723030 and quote BC ID : 010869774 and you will get an honest evaluation of how much you could save with this supplier or you how good your current deal is. There is no obligation or contract. Give them a call and see how you get on.
