One has quite a few grey patches of fur and the other has started getting a grey patch too.

They are 1 year and 22 weeks old.

It's just old age I believe. We had rats and hamsters that lost their colour in old age

That's what I thought. Apparently they are meant to live between 3 and 5 years, but I'm planning to breed them well before then.

I had 2 long haired hamsters one black and one white. By the age of around a year the black one started going grey in patches then eventually completely grey by the time he died of old age. Rip hammy.
It's old age I would t worry about it
