Hi, I'm hoping someone on here can help me;

I do accept that part of this is my fault, but I'm surprised at the way it has been handled.

I had 2 olly murs tickets for March next year - the family member who was meant to attend has had a bad diagnosis and will not be able to attend, so I listed the tickets on get me in to try and sell them (as ticketmaster states no refunds). I managed to speak to ticketmaster yesterday morning and they were very understanding and refunded the tickets. I then went to remove them from get me in, and the tickets had sold about 10 minutes before me logging in.

I emailed get me in and explained the situation and they have not been helpful at all. Instead they have asked me to source replacements or they will at a charge (which could be 150% of what my tickets sold for). I obviously don't have the money and have enough to deal with without the added stress of this.

Has anyone dealt with get me in before and had a similar situation?

I've used GetmeIn to sell tickets earlier this year. This is in their terms and conditions and made quite clear when you list tickets. It's there to protect buyers.

Maybe it's not a bad luck, your tickets was sold few minutes after you return them as those company are own by same people :)

They do which is why I can't understand why they're being so difficult...

Unfortunate, but nothing you can do. It is in their t&c if you sell and don't supply. Always remove listings from these type of websites before seeking refund elsewhere.

Their email has said;
replacement costs could be up to 50% of buyers total purchase price
Any idea what they mean by that?

Are there no tickets available in a similar area, for the same show, for face value? (doubtful if someones using GetMeIn to purchase but you never know)
If so, might be worth buying those, so you can fulfil the GetMeIn order, as well as get a refund on the others

I've looked online and can't see any. I'm going to try the box office tomorrow to see if the ones they refunded for me yesterday just haven't been put online yet. Getmein is a bit of a joke, I'd never use it again
