I have been to Florida many times over the last 10 years, it truly is a holiday to remember. I have travelled with Travel City Direct but, to be honest, would not use them again. The plane was switched at the last minute and we ended up using an XL plane which was, quite literally in the case of my sons seat, held together with sellotape! The Planes were delayed in both directions (going by 9 hours) I don't mind delays if you are kept informed but we were told nothing.
I would suggest looking at First Choice or Virgin (which is often cheaper than you may think). Ticket wise - for Disney I would recommend the Ultimate Tickets as you can come and go as you like.
As for accomidation Lake Buena Vista is closest to Disney, whilst International Drive closest to SEaworls and universal. Hotels are all very similar and most three stars are the same, four stars the same etc.
One place I would suggest visiting is Discovery Cove, it is expensive but will be completly unforgetable! The price also includes all food and drink for the day and 7 days entry into Seaworld.
Have a great holiday.

I have just booked a family to florida in May....there were 7 of them and they went for a villa, they eventually went for a community called Vizcay 5 bed villa games rom & pool which worked out about £500 per week. They did look at Lake Berkley which was slightly cheaper.

I have been to Lake Berkley and its really nice - the guy who we book our customers villa with owns his own villa on here and its a really nice community. Big lake that is well stocked, kids playground, gym etc.

I have always found it better to book everything here b4 you go, ie car hire & all insurances, passes etc.....

HTH :)
