i havent tried the online companies talking about that is it me or does that man on postal gold spook you out he doesnt blink through the whole advert.... anyways back to the question, i have in the past used rex johhnson and i found them great recommended them to a few friends also and they said they were offering the best high street price

Todays price for 9 ct is £7.66 per gram at hattons, used them before and are top notch paid the same day.
Avoid the cash4gold scammer firms that advertise on TV as you wont get a price from them and probably only get 50% of what it's really worth.

By the way that's an awful lot of gold there, probably over £8ks worth, make sure you get that insured for the full amount when using special delivery.
As special delivery only insure upto £2500 I would be tempted to split the gold into 4 different packages, gonna cost more in postage maybe a total of £40 but worth it for piece of mind

try gold4you - i think its called - go through quidco they send you an envelope you put your gold in (registered) send it to them they send you a cheque if you agree with their valuation you cash the cheque (and get £23 quidco) if you dont you send them the cheque back and they send back your gold (registered)
