hi there!
im looking for a digital camera, as i currently only have my sony ericson w810i 2mp camera phone. i need something that is good quality and will take good shots in low light (bad point with my phone). i also need the camera within a week for holiday so cant afford to save for it.

I would really like to spend under 80 pound, so if anyone can find any between the 40-80 mark please share.

also if anyone knows which budget camera would be right for me then please let me know.

thanks all you HotUKDealarians!

I've had a couple of Canon Powershot cameras and they've been excellent. They have a focus assist lamp to help in low light conditions - a rare feature on lower cost cameras.

£79 at Amazon, possibly cheaper elsewhere - sorry, no time to search at the moment!

See review here

I'm a bit busy at the moment, but if I get the chance to search for a good price, then I will post later.

EDIT Forgot to mention it's available in various colours!

Just saw this from Dabs.com this morning - a fuji 5MP digi camera with motorised zoom - 64.00 +p&p

seems a good buy, but not particularly clued up with cameras...worth a check?

None in stock at the moment. I'd still pay the extra and go for the Canon personally, especially as the OP wants good low light capability and the Canon has the focus assist lamp.
