Been looking at the Gelert RUC644 as that is something that I am after but I can only find it on Amazon for 99.99 :(
Any help appreciated.
Thanks, Kevin

Do you want a suitcase rucksack?

I have a Vango Traveller, great rucksack and comes with a day sack that can be used for hand luggage which then zips onto the main bag. It ranges in size from 60L - 80L (then 20L extra when the bag is added) and is cheaper than your Gelert.

(Posted that cause it has both colours :) )

Just looked at this and it's certainly what I am after, for this one though it seems you can't zip away the shoulder straps which the Gelert does which seems a good option when on planes etc. Do you find this an issue with the Vango or does it not really matter?
Thanks

Hi how about something like this http://www.sportsdirect.com/karrimor-global-stratos-7015-rucksack-710537

You should check out what else they have there are loads on there but that seemed to be the best deal to me :)

Or if you are going to be walking alot then something like this would be good http://www.amazon.co.uk/Berghaus-C7-65-Mens-Rucksack/dp/B001UEWGTS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1297298066&sr=1-1 I have it and it's brilliant. A Decent back system means all the weight is off your shoulders and more onto the hips.

Thanks! The Berghaus are really comfortable, I tried one on today but they only had the Jalan 60+10 in stock which was a little too small. The 70l one has wheels and makes it quite heavy which is a shame.

It does have a strap zipper which completely hides all straps. Perfect for planes, I could take a photo of mine if you want. :)
