the best part of the camera especially for holiday shots is the in-camera stitching of two or three shots at three megapixel resolution into a single panorama picture whch if you are taking a large lanscape is very handy

That site has user ratings with all camera which is useful in making decision. or if the site has in-depth review just go to conclusion and read that, its pretty much put in simple terms.

The Canon IXUS range are brilliant. I have had the 980 for just over 12 months and am delighted with it. My parents also have a different slightly cheaper model and are also delighted. The battery lasts for ages

This might be a good option if you haven't bought one already. :)

The Panasonic TZ range is what I would recommend. But, the TZ7 is a bit out of the price range. I could recommend the TZ6 thou at £ 149.99?

I bought the F72EXR (F70 is same) from Jessops recently for about £125, Absolutely, brilliant camera.

F200EXR is around £145 - again comes very highly recommended.
