Hi Gordon. Welcome to HUKD!

We need a wee bit more info...there are so many deals to narrow down...

Do you want PAYG or contract?

If PAYG, how much do u want to spend?

If contract, what are u on at the mo (Free mins, monthly payments, network), and do u want something similar?

Are there any makes you prefer...?

contract deals only,o2 if possible, nokia or samsung headsets, and of course the cheapest possible

I don't know much about these, but this info will help one of the other members here to make a recommendation for you...

I think you need to be a little more specific about the handset you want.
There are many deals out there with O2 where the term cost is nil.

For example you can get a Nokia 6030 from mobileshop.com with 250 anytime cross network minutes and 100 free texts on O2. It's a 12 month contract at £30 per month, but you get 12 months free line rental in the form of cashback at months 5, 7, 9 and 12. So the sum cost of the phone is nothing!

The same deal is also available for the Nokia 3120.

If you want a better handset, then you'll have to pay something. Decent handsets are available for around £25.

Good places to look for deals are mobileshop.com, e2save, onestopphoneshop and phonebox direct

Hope this helps?

Well, I recommend mobileshop.com - I have a cashback deal with them, and no problems at all on that front.

Thanks Jake, that's something for gordon to think about anyway.

>> CLICK HERE << to go to the Nokia 5140i at BuyMobilePhones.net.

You get the 5140i for FREE. You get 250 x-net minutes and 50 texts every month. You pay o2 £35 per month for 12 months. You get ALL of this, £420, back by sending "cashback claims" at specified intervals.

So, after all of that the phone and contract works out COMPLETELY FREE after the cashback!!

You can make £20 PROFIT on the whole thing by making your purchase via QuidCo.com who'll give you £20 in extra cashback for this transaction.

VERY IMPORTANT: o2 have just re-vamped their contracts, and presumably the company bosses aren't back in until tomorrow at least, so no good offers on the new o2 tariff have yet been given the go-ahead. I guess we'll see some offers on better phones emerge over the next few days.

Jake,
Do you (or any other members) have any experience of phonebox direct? I'm interested in one of their current offerings.

I would definitely recommend mobileshop.com from experience.

Sorry, no, but one of the other members might?

Good site here for all the latest deals on phones.

Mod Edit: Sorry, but third party affiliate websites which gain money from website visitors are not allowed on the HUKD forums to deter those who spam with their own sites, sorry.

I've never seen an experience from PhoneBoxDirect. Usually though no comments is a good thing. After all, people only ever comment on a retailer when they complain!!
