You wont get a lot for £50, however looking at www.pricerunner.co.uk the lowest on offer is still this one at Homebase.

We have a 3 yr old and a 5 yr old and in the past 2 years have had 3 dvd systems all 3 destroyed by the kids in various different ways. My advice to you is just buy cheap whilst they are young.

Honestly, I'd avoid anything with less than 7" screen. Too much strain on the eyes.. & no good if you're flying :)

I agree, but try getting 7" for less than £50, not possible

Hi,

We bought the 9" Technika from Tesco for £49 here recently.

It's out of stock online at the moment unfortunately, but if you have a Tesco nearby it might be worth checking if they have any left.

For the price it's a great player, with a good picture, I've been very impressed with it.

Try this at Richer Sounds, quote 'VIP CLUB' for it at £49.95

If you're looking for on to use in the car, wouldn't one with an in car kit be a better idea?

UltimoScorpion, I've got kids the same age as yours, what on earth are they doing to them??? ;-)

The first one 'the boy' removed the little spring coil out of the power lead. I then tried getting a replacement lead and fried the dvd player as the voltage is only 1.5!!

The second one 'the boy' put jam on his favourite dvd and then decided he would play the jam to see what he got. The fried jam smell was interesting.

I tell you he is destructor the alien child!!!
