Any good laptop offers doing the rounds at the moment ?....will be used for surfing and occasionall picture post processing....nothing major though.

The Dells looks good but the delivery is a stinker - do they ever do free del codes ?

Thought this looked reasonable if a little light on mem :-

PC World usually have some pretty good special offer laptops for under £300 which are good value. As long as you are planning on gaming or heavy graphics use, most base laptops will suffice. Make sure, if its running Vista, that you get at 2Gb of RAM, and aim for a disk size above 100Gb.

Personally, I love the HP laptops - particularly the Pavillion range, and you can often get good end of line ones from Staples.

Regarding Dell - while they are often good value, be aware that they use custom made RAM, therefore if you ever need to expand at a later date, you will have to buy it from them at their inflated prices. They are good quality machines and as reliable as any others. There are often codes quoted on this site for Dells.

£13 over but would do what you want and more out of the box.
Thanks guys - anything else worth considering ?
Any offers ?
