Graphics Card

Basically im after a good deal for a graphics card capable of playing decent up to date games, Civilization 5, CoD: Black Ops, Medal of Honor etc, doesnt have to be top of the range, just good enough to play them at decent graphics quality at a high widescreen resolution if possible.

Im looking to spend no more than around £150 if possible, the rest of my pc is fine, AMD Phenom II cpu, 4GB corsair ram (another 2GB on order), 600W sli capable power supply (Forget the brand), Gigabyte AM3 SLi board, im currently still running a 9800GT though :( so think its time for an upgrade.

SLi in the future would be an option as well, but can only afford 1 graphics card currently. Prefer Nvidia (due to SLi option) but would consider a bang for buck ATI card as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Agreed. I have an ATI Radeon HD 5670 512MB - fantastic card and plays all the top games without a problem. Only been out since January and I got mine for £65 as it came out. The prices will go down slowly. Recommended would be top HD 5850 - wait a bit for price to drop to your budget and shop around for best deal (best one I can find as a [very] quick search is £180)

The new 6000 series will be rebranded cards (much like the geforce 9800 is a rebranded 8800, etc). The 5000 series shouls see you right for a good while especially with your CPU and mobo.

Good luck
