You can send royal mail subject to these terms...

Perfumes and aftershaves

Including eau de parfum, eau de toilette and alcohol-free perfumes, but excluding non-flammable perfumed creams, gels, oils or lotions.

Volume per item must not exceed 150ml. No more than four perfumes or aftershaves can be sent in any one package. The perfume or aftershave must be within its original retail packaging and then placed in strong outer packaging. The inner packagings must be packed, secured or cushioned to prevent breakage or leakage of their contents into the outer packaging.

An ID8000 label must be applied ( see example ID8000 label Opens in new window ). The sender’s name and return address must be clearly visible on the outer packaging.

These items must be presented at a Post Office® counter.

Am I missing something here or is there a reason you can't just put them in a box?

if its going inside uk its not airmail, so tell them its a childs toy or something.
out of uk theres a tiny risk, teeny tiny, so they can be picky. tell em the same.
ive posted perfume, batteries, cigarettes etc etc etc.... they have to be mauled for anything bad to happen (or be high value for customs charges to kick in)

Yes they do.
. OK. Perhaps I was too vague. They won't carry just a bottle or jar of liquid. Its got to be well and originally packaged and labelled correctly. A full bottle wrapped in bubble and thrown in a jiffy won't get delivered.

well I can see their point now, I'm confused as to why the item can't be properly wrapped up ? it's asking for trouble sending something fragile unprotected.

its to do with air mail, it can still travel by air in the uk, hence why batteries and things have to have a label on the package now

Two choices.

Take it to another post office and lie, or use another courier.

https://www.parcelmonkey.co.uk/ can search a few at once.
#21
just lie, the packages don't get xrayed so i doubt anyone cares.
#22
Thanx guys ! Hotukdealers never let me down when I need help :D I have come to decision to give it another go with different box ;)

Put it in a box, wrap it well and tell the post office assistant that it is in the original box. They will put a sticker on the parcel to say it contains a perfume. Don't tell tell them it is something that it isn't like one of the previous commenters said because then your parcel won't be marked as perfume and it could be destroyed.
