hi, not trying to put you off but my son had this and they are extremely tempramental, considering it v-tech they are not robust, his gameboy advance sp is more robust than this, in the end we brought the console for the tv so he could make use of all the games he had for it,

thanks for reply, but have the console already - was lookin for a way to get some quiet time while in the car :thumbsup:

how hold is the child? mine is 5 and loves his gameboy advance sp, must say he onlt had it as daughter had a nintendo ds so gave him her sp, but he loves it and has never really bothered with the v smile even before he had the sp, although he likes the smile on the tv

We've had Vtech V smile consoles and pockets and they really not that great,the games are ok and simple for them to learn and play but if the child was 5 yrs plus I recommend a Nintendo DS.

shhhhhh you, my little one wants one of them but i he is continually dropping the sp and no a ds would be cream crackered within a day

i personally wouldnt buy unless you can get it dead cheap so at least you can still use the same games, otherwise i wouldnt bother, especially if like my little one who continually drops things, leaves things lying around etc, etc

Argos are doing it for the same price as Amazon (bundled with scooby doo) but you also get a free carry case too.
