Hard Drive For Dell Inspiron 1525 Laptop

Hi everyone, my friend's Daughter's Inspiron 1525 laptop's hard drive has failed (Dell error code: 2000-0146)

What's a decent (and cheap!) 2.5 inch HD to use in this type of laptop? (Would a 7200 rpm drive make any difference in terms of speed etc?) And does it matter if it's SATA I or SATA II?

Many thanks in advance : )

Most laptop hard disk are 5400, so a 7200 would be better.

I doubt she would notice a huge improvement though (some but not huge)

Sata 2 is best as it is faster.
