Studio have been around for years, my gran used to use them as did my mum, seen a few things that I was tempted to get too.

Think some on here dont like it but I always have, pretty sure delivery can sometimes be a bit slow tho.

i think you have to open a credit account to order, i might be wrong but when i ordered a few years ago it never gave me the option to pay by card at checkout.

They are ok if you can get used to their invoice system and can tolerate their returns process.

I ordered a hifi from them once, looked compact in the picture but when it arrived it wasnt compact by any means at all so I returned it via courier to their returns depot.

Even though I had evidence of return and also evidence from the courier with a signature showing that the item had been returned into their warehouse, Studio24 refused to refund me until they had completed their "side" of things. Which may I add was almost 5 MONTHS later. they also continued to add the £150 item charge to the invoice and as I told them that I wouldnt be paying that as I had returned the item and could legally evidence that return, they also continued to charge me a £12 non payment fee.

It all got resolved in the end and they cancelled out all the admin charges and the item amount, but it took nearly 5 months which was very frustrating and the customer service was well below an acceptable standard for dealing with these matters.

I used to buy from them a lot but I havent bought anything from them since. I prefer to use the online shopping catalogues like Littlewoods, Grattan etc at least they deal swiftly with returns and have always had a good customer experience with them.

:)

Stuff can be good but beware you cant make payments online & if your payments are even a day late you get charged large amounts!!!
#15
But you can phone and pay

i used them a few times over the last few years but every time they have failed to complete my order, usually just one item out of ten or so, but it is a bit annoying.

i'm sure my mum used to order from them and they are legit

Placed an order on 16th Oct 2014, sent an Email to 24studio within an hour to cancel the order, received a reply from them today(21.10.14) said the following :-
Thank you for your recent email.
Unfortunately item 23191597CI has been despatched and therefore we are unable to cancel it. When you receive the parcel please contact us and we will arrange a collection.
As a business we have taken the decision to allow customers to order goods on approval. This allows you time to ensure that the goods are suitable before paying in full for them. As the goods are being received before any payment is taken, a full credit check is carried out on all of our customers at the point of first order.

This very disappointing.

Well I'm glad that after nearly 5 years, you've took the time to register and tell us this....

They are a big company, how many companies can you order from and then be able to cancel an hour later? once the order is placed it goes to the warehouse. Your email wont ave gone to the warehouse.

Genuinely curious, how did you come upon this thread, and not notice that it's 5 years old?

My partner ordered two dinner sets from them for £40 each. She got a letter saying that she needed to make a payment of £80 and that she could order another £220 worth of goods.

She did not want to enter into any type of credit agreement so she phoned them cancelling the order. When the goods arrived via Yodel, the driver was reluctant to accept that we did not want the goods. Eventually he did accept after I gave him my initials.

My partner has just phoned the company 24studio again, saying that she has not accepted the goods and that the driver has taken them away.

This might sound straight forward, but it has been an upsetting and disturbing experience for my partner. It confirms accounts on https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.24studio.co.uk that this is a difficult company to do business with. Their telephone staff and the delivery driver were not helpful.

I believe the law is quite straight forward.

Worst consumer experience I have ever had.

Firstly they sent me an electrical item with EXPOSED WIRES(!) which is ridiculously unsafe. If I hadn't noticed this they'd have a much bigger complaint on their hands! (What if this had been an elderly or vulnerable person who didn't notice/didn't realise the risk of electrocution?!)

In the two weeks I have been trying to sort this out they have failed to arrange collection of the item on the two separate occassions I requested but sent a courier on the days I was at work! They took 2-3 days at a time to respond to communication via webform or email.

Finally called today, was unable to speak to a manager or complaints handler. (But it's ok, apparently I can complain via post!!!!) After a 50 minute phone call I still haven't had the issue resolved in a satisfactory manner.

NEVER AGAIN!

I've bought quite a lot from studio and not really had a problem, you have to sign up then place your order, you don't pay until you receive your order then they invoice you and give options on how to pay. Service is really good I used to order by post but quite often something would be sold out so this year decided to order on line which is so much better if something is out of stock you find out right away and then not disappointed when you get your parcel

Used them once a few years ago and quality of the goods received was rubbish (christmas tree was very cheap looking and flimsy and awful decorations) - wouldn't use again as stuff is overpriced.

I am totally calling you out on this..This is not a genuine review. Willing to put money it is someone working for the 'studio.co.uk' team.
