Sony 42W829B is good, and you get a free sound bar.

£599 for 47 inch or £448 for 42 inch ... Awesome TV and 3D too!

What's the use of a free sound bar, when he already has one?

5 year free guarantees from John Lewis and Richer Sounds. If you find a tv elseware ask them to price match.

I bought this one a few weeks ago..
SAMSUNG - UE40H6400 Smart 3D 40" its a little cheaper at 450 but looks great on the wall and its 400hz you can probably get a bit better one for your cash though.

Originally wanted the one from JL that was like 900+Hz looked immaculate but got talked out of it due to the price and it was only going to be a bedroom TV. I'd always spend a little more though if it was a main sitting/living room TV

Sony KDL-42W705B is cheaper than the 829B essentially the same without 3D and 200hz motion pro instead of 400hz.

Both TV's have amazing input lag for gaming, essentially if you are into gaming get a sony.
