then buy a Kodi android box. Most "smart TV's" can't run Kodi due to the lack of processing power and a closed OS
#2
Unless it's an Android TV then it's tough luck. Get a box.
#3
Even 75% of android smart TVs can't run kodi
#4
UMCs firmware does not support Kodi. Consider buying a dedicated Android box instead.
#5
Every smart TV can run kodi if you know what your doing.

By knowing what you are doing you mean buying a kodi box right?

Samsung with tizen??

No, as long as the TV has a browser it can be added, most kodi boxes are **** anyway

Impossible if the tv does not have android as the os then no it can not be added.

Yes it can
Complete rubbish.

I work for Lg, I helped develop the software for their new TV operating system, I think I know what I'm talking about, it's all about going into the system and changing a few bits of coding in the TV. Do your research on Google before you start slagging people off.

Google research all says exactly what everyone has already said. Unless the TV is running a version of Android OS it is not possible to run natively on the TV. Few LG's do run Android versions but most are WebOS based.
How to install on Android based versions, well type Kodi or XMBC into playstore and press install.

If you did all that then you'd know that a majority of basic smart tvs don't have enough memory or processing power to run anything more than a few simple apps. Kodi would probably need recoding from the ground up to work. There are quite a few different tv os's out there, Webos, Tizen, linux plus many more and kodi hasn't been developed to run on most.

why not just let people know how to do it, if its possible. that's what this section is for.

your answer was like..... "I know how to do it, but I'm not telling you"

so let us know how, as I'm interested in this.
