I have BT anytime calls and infinity plus sky tv with multi room and variety pack. I pay a lot for what i have separately, yet all deals seem to be for new joiners. I guess we need Sky Q to be upto date and perhaps sky talk. But has anyone ever got a deal with BT as they seem to be very limited for existing customers and don't care if you leave. Sky seem very disjointed and the guy just adds on services rather than offer a deal for all ie tv, telephone and broadband. Am i doing something wrong or do i need to cancel first to get a better deal, although the misses will not be too happy!

Rubbish. As long as you are out of contract or at the end of your contract, or looking to upgrade, their Customer Options Team have great retention deals.

Bt are diabolical for existing customers . Their broadband would slow down every month until you rang up to ask for the profile in the exchange to be reset to what it should be ( higher ). India would try and get you to go through all sorts of hoops first: Take the plate off the wall , turn your modem on and off , filters in and out , computer on and off. I got it off to a tee in the end , no, you do a line check and tell me the speed and what the profile is set for ? Their departments are scattered all over the place , usually you are dealing with India . They attract new customers at a low deal, but take any discount up front, later they will increase there prices by stealth .

I transferred to the Post Office Broadband and phone , far cheaper and offered more . Bt accounts department still kept billing me despite they were no longer providing service . BT should have their license
revoked .

Your adsl (copper) broadband would always provide stability over speed. If your speed profile kept reducing then it would mean that your broadband circuit was dropping on a regular basis, so the speed is lowered at the exchange to stop the disconnections to give you a stable connection. Just by resetting the profile wouldn't solve the underlying problem. To do the test into the test socket would be correct to make sure it wasn't something internal which was causing these problems. By January, BT will have brought back 90% of work to the UK, with an aim of 100% in the near future.

Best I got them down to was £60 per month. Infinity 2, Top Youview package with the UHD box, 1571, BT Privacy at home (That's the caller display part they where talking about), unlim calls anytime, line rental. On 12 month Contract. Basically the same as yourself if you take away my TV part (which was £10). Noticed during the black friday deals and most of the deals as of late they didn't include Infinity 2 just Infinity 1 for new customers.

Even if you cancel you are only giving them 30 days notice, its something like they ring after 2 weeks to offer you 30-50% off then after that it can go upto 75%. you can cancel your request anypoint upto cancellation i believe.

Once the cancellation order is placed BT will not ring you up, other companies do but BT don't.

I left bt after current deal ended,Wouldnt do anything. so took a cracking deal with sse. phone and superfast broadband 22.50 a month.

weird thing was,it was btopenreach who installed my broadband for sse.

i have around 12 months left of 2 year contract and am quite sure i will go back to bt as new customer on a deal.
