Hello all, looking to get a decent HD TV to play the old 360 on, my budget could stretch at the very most to £450-£500 if the TV comes highly recommended but otherwise i'd like to keep below the limit of £400, having said this it'll be a bit hard (which is why I came to the experts, you if you haven't already worked out) because my other criteria involve being HD to play the xbox and also above 30inches as it'll be the living room TV, having put up with a beast of a machine that was a mitsubishi CRT which gave us around 12 years of service. Anyone who manages to find such a TV will be repped and be happy in the knowledge that you've made someone's christmas, thanks in anticipation, LZ:friends:

Have you had a look in Sainsburys ? I saw the new Sony 32" HD LCD TV in there (model no. KDL32U3000U). It was set up and looked abosolutely stunning. They also had the same in a 26" version which also looked really good. The 32" was on offer at £449 (but if you know someone who works for them you could get a further 15% off, bringing it down to a very tempting £382) - don't forget your nectar points as well.

I would definately pay that bit more for a known brand and the convenience of not having to worry about returns etc.

Cheers
Paul

Decent brand under £400 is difficult......if you are willing to stretch your budget a bit then the ones generally recommended in the avforums are the
Toshiba 32c3030db/32c3035db
Panasonic TX32LMD70 (not the LXD7)
Samsung R87/R88

If you can get the code to work (its temperamental) you can get the Tosh for £405 with the 10% Empire Direct code (and you can get Quidco)
http://www.hotukdeals.com/forums/showthread.php?t=116406
Code "may" be valid until 7th Dec
If you are going to get the Tosh - try following this link
