HDMI Cable (No - Not A Normal One) - Budget - £25

I need a 6m+ 1.3+ hdmi a to hdmi c (Normal hdmi to hdmi mini) cable for a decent price. I don't however want to gamble on a generic cheap marketplace cable. Dont bother with all the all th same arguments, i don't care. I want a premium branded chunky cable on offer somewhere. I have already searched the deals with negative temperatures (best place to find premium hdmi cables) but can only find normal cables. Hopefully someone not obsessed with poundland cables will know of one on offer. (PM me if you dont want the normal abuse)

Cheers

Thanks for the site, but unfortunatly they only go up to 3 m with hdmi mini - hdmi.

What about buying a normal HDMI A 6M cable and then a HDMI A to C converter?

I may have to, but i am reluntant to have too many connectors.

This won't make any difference; the signal is digital so either on or off (1 or 0); just make sure you get a good quality HDMI cable as anything over 5m and you do get some degradation of signal and/or interference so quality of cable is important.

Your right about it not being important with short cables, but you might want to research your digital signal as there is no such thing. Contrary to popular opinion on here, all data is sent in an analog waveform. Degradation in that waveform (due to cable quality, poor connectors etc) will result in unresolvable data. That coupled with the fact HDMI had no error correction means that quality is important. 6m would be fine for most cables (although i would not trust many of the cheap CCA/CCS cables which are common place now) but an extra connector would be equivalent to something more like an 8-9m cable based on opinions as to the effect of joins

Thanks for the update though. I guess connector will be the only way as i still cant find one

Thought it was at first, just a odd name for a hdmi a-hdmi a cable though - http://www.kramerelectronics.com/includes/inc_product_pdf.asp?i=765. Cheers though, thought youd found it.

Nice one, cheers. Ive been looking for ages and couldnt find a single one.

Just get a cheap cable and stop being so **** about it. You won't notice any difference.

If it is that important to you, stop penny pinching, and buy an expensive cable.
