Looking to buy a HDTV for the girlfriend for xmas, got £200 to spend.

Can someone point me in the direction of a decent sized one for this price? obviously not too fussed about it being a brand name at £200.

Best I can find so far is this..

Thats not a TV its a monitor. If you got the version with HDMI you could use an upscaling Freeview box with it.

Over the £200 budget, but if she is a decent girl, she will make up the difference with sex.

Anybody remember what the name of that cheap brand TV was that cropped up a few times on here and AVforums maybe a year ago. Intech or Intex or something like that, I just remember people praising the fact that for a TV so cheap it didn't just explode the minute you turned it on.

I would however recommend holding off on the cheap TV and seeing if you could stretch to the £330 that the Sony 32v4000 has been seen at. LCD TV's are one of those things where it pays to get a brand name.
