Great HDTV this, and just under your budget at 399 and released today. (on play at least) cheapest anywhere else is 440-odd delivered

Hi there, I bought the Mirai 632 from Xomy a month or so ago for £417 - it may be cheaper now. Certainly a great picture from standard dvd player and freeview picture. Probably even better with a HDMI dvd player and SKY(HD). Certainly recommend it.

Hi Grieves

I have this:

http://www.woolworths.co.uk/ww_p2/product/index.jhtml?pid=50824272

Which comes in at £350 - 5% quidco == £332.50. Not bad for a 32".

I've found it a very reasonable TV for the money. It doesn't have VGA input which might not be to your liking, but XBox 360 still looks very good via component, in fact it looks better than our Samsung 32" does via component.

Hope it helps.

I had this TV found it to be very nice but it developed problems with the screen within 8 weeks and woolworths were very unhelpful. (don't know if this is a regular occurance but just letting you know)

I did just pick up a HD ready TV at Tesco's though more expensive at £399 but in general if something goes wrong I find Tescos slightly more helpful, plus this TV had more connectors so you can hook your pc up and use it as a monitor. (not tried this out yet so don't know how easy it is as cant be bothered unplugging my tower and putting it in a diff room)

Also worth considering this from Argos if 19" is big enough for you (£249.99).

You may need to read some reviews on them. I do not have one yet but my cousins been though and dont quote me on this:

But some of them have a lower speed rate, so for example when you play GOW and a lot of information happens on the screen some Tv screens will go blocky as its too much information for the tele to handle.

Personally id go for Samsung.

Try here also ( sorry im a work so cant go looking for you ) but they do good deals:

if you dont mind the size, get DELL 24" 2407WFP
its capable of full HD 1080p, selling around £450 on ebay
BUT no tv tuner though
